By accessing and using the extension.rocks website ("Site") and any browser extensions published by Extension Rocks ("Extensions"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or the Extensions.

Description of Service

extension.rocks is a website that provides information about browser extensions developed and published by Extension Rocks. The Extensions are distributed through the Chrome Web Store and, for some Extensions, Microsoft Edge Add-ons, and can be installed directly from there.

Use of the Website

You may use this Site to browse information about our Extensions, read blog articles, and access privacy policies and other documentation. The content on this Site is provided for informational purposes.

You agree not to:

  • Use the Site for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Site's operation
  • Reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the Site's content without permission

Use of Extensions

Most of our Extensions are provided free of charge. Some Extensions offer optional paid features ("Premium" or "Pro" tiers) sold separately via subscription. Use of paid features is governed by the relevant Extension's Terms of Sale, linked from its detail page on this Site. By installing and using an Extension, you also agree to the terms of the store you install it from, such as the Chrome Web Store Terms of Service or Microsoft's terms for Edge Add-ons.

Each Extension has its own privacy policy that describes its data practices, which you can find on the Extension's detail page on this Site.

Paid Features and Subscriptions

Certain features of our Extensions are available only with a paid subscription ("Premium features"). The commercial terms for each subscription - including pricing, trial period, refund policy, cancellation, and cross-browser scope - are described in the Terms of Sale for the relevant Extension, available on that Extension's detail page on this Site.

Subscriptions are processed by Stripe, Inc. and are subject to Stripe's terms and privacy policy. By subscribing, you agree to both these Terms of Service and the relevant Extension's Terms of Sale.

Intellectual Property

All content on this Site, including text, graphics, logos, and branding, is the property of extension.rocks and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. The Extension names, logos, and descriptions are also our intellectual property.

You may not use our trademarks, logos, or branding without prior written permission.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and Extensions are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that:

  • The Site or Extensions will be available at all times without interruption
  • The Site or Extensions will be free of errors or bugs
  • The Extensions will be compatible with all systems or configurations

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, extension.rocks shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Site or Extensions.

This includes, but is not limited to, damages for loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, or limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

Third-Party Services

Some Extensions integrate with third-party services such as weather APIs, Google Drive, and Dropbox. These integrations are subject to the respective third-party terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services.

Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be reflected by updating the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site or Extensions after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

Termination

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to the Site at our discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the Site.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Sweden. This does not deprive consumers of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of the country where they live. Disputes may be brought before the courts of Sweden or, for consumers, the courts of their country of residence.
