Why This Extension?
Many password-reveal extensions request excessive permissions or include hidden tracking code. Show Password takes a security-first approach: it does exactly what it says with the minimum permissions possible, and nothing else. No sneaky tracking code, no third-party scripts, no data leaving your browser. If you just need to quickly verify what you typed in a password field, this is the safest and simplest way to do it.
