Terms of Sale — Note-it Aside Premium
Effective Date: October 2026
Seller
Note-it Aside Premium is sold by Extension Rocks, Västra Järnvägsgatan 15, 111 64 Stockholm, Sweden. For questions about these Terms of Sale, contact: contactatextensiondotrocks.
Product
Note-it Aside Premium is the paid tier of the Note-it Aside extension for Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge. It unlocks Premium features inside the extension. Today that is unlimited saved recordings for Copy-Paste Record & Replay; the free version keeps one recording.
Pricing
Note-it Aside Premium costs $2.99 USD per month, plus applicable taxes, billed monthly via Stripe.
The price does not include taxes. Where tax applies (for example VAT or sales tax), it is calculated at checkout from your location and added to the price. Checkout shows the total before you pay, and each invoice shows the tax charged.
Prices are subject to change. Existing subscribers will receive at least 30 days' notice before any price change affects their subscription.
Free Trial
Note-it Aside Premium includes a 14-day free trial, once per customer. If you have already had a free trial, a new subscription starts right away, without one.
You can cancel any time before the trial ends to avoid being charged. Stripe requires payment details at the start of the trial, but no charge occurs until the trial ends.
Cancellation
You can cancel any time from the extension: open the side panel's menu (⋯), choose Manage Subscription, then Manage in Stripe. This opens the Stripe Customer Portal, where you can cancel, change your payment method or see invoices.
After cancellation, Premium access continues until the end of the paid billing period. Early cancellation does not create a prorated refund.
When Premium Ends
When your subscription or free trial ends without being renewed, Note-it Aside keeps working on the free plan, and nothing you created is deleted.
The free plan includes one saved recording. If you have more than one, all your recordings are kept, but only one stays usable: the one you replayed most recently (or, if you never replayed any, the oldest). The others are shown as locked: they can't be replayed, edited or deleted until you unlock Premium again, which makes them all usable again.
Right of Withdrawal and Refunds
If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have the right to withdraw from your subscription within 14 days of subscribing, without giving a reason.
- With a free trial: the trial lasts the same 14 days and nothing is charged during it. Cancelling before the trial ends withdraws from the subscription at no cost.
- Without a free trial (for example, if you have had one before): if you withdraw within 14 days of subscribing, you get a full refund of your first payment.
To withdraw, cancel through the Stripe Customer Portal as described above, or email contactatextensiondotrocks with the email address you used at checkout and a clear statement that you are withdrawing. For a refund, email us; we refund to your original payment method within 14 days of receiving your request.
Apart from these cases, payments for past billing periods are not refundable, except where the law requires otherwise. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.
Where Premium Works
Premium is linked to the browser profile you subscribed in. It also works on other computers where that profile is signed in and synced.
One subscription covers up to 5 browsers. Only browsers where Note-it Aside has checked the subscription in the last 30 days count, so a browser you stop using frees its place after 30 days.
Other browser profiles and other browsers are not covered by the subscription. If you need Premium in another browser profile, contact contactatextensiondotrocks.
Data Stored
To run your subscription, Extension Rocks stores the following with Cloudflare (Workers KV and Durable Objects):
- the random user ID the extension creates, linked to your Stripe customer ID;
- your subscription record: Stripe customer and subscription IDs, plan, status, current period end, trial end, whether it cancels at the end of the period, and the email address used at checkout;
- the browsers using your subscription (a random ID for each browser and when it last checked the subscription, forgotten after 30 days without a check), and a hashed key that ties the subscription to your extension;
- a one-way hash of the payment method used for a free trial (for example, a card's fingerprint), so that each payment method gets one free trial. The card number itself is never stored;
- short-lived tokens that let the extension confirm a purchase after Checkout or the Customer Portal (kept for up to 24 hours).
Subscription events, such as a trial starting or a subscription ending, are also sent to our analytics, without payment details.
Payment card details are processed and stored exclusively by Stripe; Extension Rocks never sees or stores card numbers. The Privacy Policy describes how this data is used and kept.
Modifications
Extension Rocks may update these Terms of Sale. Material changes affecting active subscribers will be communicated by email to the address used at checkout. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the last revision.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms of Sale is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
Governing Law
These Terms of Sale are governed by the laws of Sweden. This does not deprive consumers of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of the country where they live. Disputes may be brought before the courts of Sweden or, for consumers, the courts of their country of residence.
